Current Chapter Reviews
Current work plan of chapter reviews:
Each chapter, with the exception of Chapter 5 Infections (antibacterial section), is scheduled for review every two years. Although it is acknowledged that this is often not possible and the review period may be extened.
Changes to a chapter may occasionally become necessary between reviews, for example, when the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee (DTC) approve new therapies, or a drug is withdrawn from supply. These changes will be made, within 3 months of the Joint Formulary Committee agreement, on the web-based version of the formulary.
